Wild at Heart Tattoo welcomes Jon F Tee W into our fold! After his jaunt travelling and tattooing in Europe, he has settled back in Brisbane and now works Tuesday – Saturday at our Charlotte Street shop.

For those that do not already know, we at Wild at Heart are lucky to have the very talented Miss Monika Rumrich, all the way from Wild at Heart Tattoo in Munich, Germany!

She is working at our Queen Street store until next Wednesday/Thursday, so if you are in the market for some new tattoos from some new blood please don’t delay! Spots are filling up fast, so call Queen Street and arrange some time with Monika.

A little update…

No, we have not disappeared off the face of the earth! Despite our recent slack efforts in the blogging department, all is well on the home front and Wild at Heart has been a veritable hive of activity in the past few months. So, for all of our fans and valued customers, here is a little update on recent events in our fair shop(s).

We have welcomed the Say sisters into our fold and it is now hard to imagine life without them! Gemma is now managing Charlotte Street and the lovely Ebony is our weekend girl. They are more than happy to help with anything you need, be it some advice on getting your first tattoo, discussing your plans for future work or just havin’ a good ol’ chin wag!

Queen Street recently had a flooding crisis, I hear you ask ‘how does the second floor get flooded?’. Well, the water heater on the third floor decided to blow up, resulting in less than desirable and somewhat soggy conditions in the studio. Luckily Charlotte Street was able to accommodate the boys until the situation improved and now both shops are back to normal.

Also, after a decade or two of only minor refurbishments, Bernie has been entertaining the notion of giving Charlotte Street a bit of a face lift and maybe a slight nip and tuck to Queen Street too. So watch this space! We will give full updates of our progress so you can come up and see for yourselves as the renovations progress!

That seems to wrap it up for now… We will however leave you with a little taste of what’s to come as we soon welcome a handful of guest artists to both shops in the up and coming months. More will be revealed soon!

The sugar skull represents a way of transforming the painful miseries of death into a source of nurturing and internal strength. These skulls are synonymous with Mexico’s “Dia de los Muertos” or “Day of the Dead” holiday, which occurs every 2nd day of November.

First we are plagued with fire, now Wild at Heart Tattoo has survived a flood!

After a few days of a forced and somewhat soggy holiday, the power is back on in the CBD and we back in business and raring to go…

Thankfully, all members of the Wild at Heart family are safe and dry. We send our thoughts and prayers to our customers and their kin who were not so lucky…
